A seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the Indian auto industry, Arun graduated from IIM-Calcutta in 1983 and has held key positions at major companies like Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Nissan India, where he served as the Managing Director from 2014 to 2018.

Specializing in Sales and Marketing, Arun has contributed significantly to brand building, strategic marketing, retail network expansion, and customer-centric initiatives. With executive education from Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School, Arun has also been an Executive Council member of SIAM and Chairman of Auto Expo 2018. He is currently serving as a strategic consultant, advisor, and independent director, he is also a Professor of Practice in IIT Roorkee and IIT Mandi, a board member of IIM Kolkata Innovation Park, and a keynote speaker at various management and industry forums.
